This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to purchases made through:

1. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

If you believe a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or has arrived with freight damage, please contact workfurniture as soon as reasonably possible.

Where appropriate, we may:

·       repair the product

·       replace the product

·       provide replacement parts

·       offer an exchange

·       provide a refund where required under applicable New Zealand consumer law

workfurniture reserves the right to assess claims in consultation with the relevant supplier, manufacturer, or freight provider.

Proof of purchase and supporting photographs may be required.


2. Freight Damage Claims

Customers should inspect products upon delivery wherever reasonably possible.

If freight damage is identified:

·       note the damage with the freight carrier where possible

·       retain all packaging materials

·       take photographs of the damage

·       notify workfurniture as soon as possible following delivery

Prompt reporting assists us in lodging claims with suppliers and freight providers.

Where appropriate, freight-damaged products may be repaired, replaced, or otherwise resolved in accordance with supplier processes, freight provider requirements, applicable warranties, and New Zealand consumer law.


3. Change of Mind Returns

As many of our products are commercial furniture items sourced from a variety of suppliers and manufacturers, change-of-mind returns are not automatically accepted.

Approved returns may be considered on a case-by-case basis for eligible stocked products.

To be considered for a return:

·       products must be unused

·       products must be in original packaging where possible

·       products must not be assembled, installed, modified, or damaged

·       return requests should be submitted promptly following delivery

Approved returns may be subject to:

·       supplier approval

·       restocking fees

·       freight charges

·       handling charges

·       return freight costs

Original freight, delivery, installation, assembly, and related service charges are generally non-refundable.


4. Made-to-Order & Customised Products

Customised and made-to-order products are manufactured or procured specifically for the customer.

These products may include:

·       upholstered-to-order seating

·       customised finishes or colours

·       custom screens or partitions

·       imported special-order items

·       customised dimensions or configurations

·       made-to-order furniture

Once manufacture, procurement, or supplier ordering has commenced, these products generally cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded unless required under applicable New Zealand consumer law.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming all:

·       dimensions

·       specifications

·       finishes

·       fabrics

·       colours

·       configurations

prior to approval or order confirmation.

workfurniture can provide additional product information, dimensions, or specifications upon request where available.


5. Product Variations

Commercial furniture products may contain natural or manufacturing variations.

Minor variations in:

·       fabric shade

·       timber grain

·       veneer pattern

·       powder-coat finish

·       stitching

·       dimensions

·       texture

·       colour appearance

may occur between samples, website imagery, supplier photography, and finished products.

These variations do not constitute faults or defects.


6. Clearance & Final Sale Items

Clearance, ex-display, end-of-line, and final sale items are sold on a final sale basis and are generally non-returnable unless required under applicable New Zealand consumer law.


7. Commercial & Project Orders

Commercial fit-out, project, and bulk procurement orders may involve:

·       staged manufacturing

·       supplier procurement

·       customised production

·       allocated stock

·       installation scheduling

·       coordinated freight arrangements

Cancellation or variation requests after order confirmation may incur:

·       supplier cancellation fees

·       restocking fees

·       freight costs

·       storage costs

·       administrative charges

·       costs associated with completed manufacturing or procurement


8. Consumer Guarantees Act

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any rights available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable New Zealand consumer laws where those rights cannot legally be excluded.

Where products or services are supplied for business purposes, and to the extent permitted by law, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 shall not apply.
