These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the workfurniture websites, including:

These Terms apply to all website visitors, customers, purchasers, and users of our products and services.
Throughout these Terms, “workfurniture”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refers to Workfurniture Limited.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our websites, purchasing products, requesting quotations, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you are purchasing products or services on behalf of a company, organisation, or other entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our websites or services.
2. Products & Services
workfurniture supplies commercial office furniture, seating, storage solutions, workplace accessories, fit-out services, delivery, installation, and related products and services throughout New Zealand.
Products may include:
· stocked items
· quick ship items
· imported products
· customised products
· made-to-order products
· commercial fit-out and project supply items
Certain products may be sourced from third-party manufacturers and suppliers.
3. Website Information & Product Availability
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, specifications, pricing, lead times, and website content are accurate and up to date.
However:
· product availability may change without notice
· suppliers may discontinue or alter products
· colours, finishes, dimensions, and specifications may vary slightly from website imagery or samples
· screen settings and photography may affect colour appearance
· lead times are estimates only unless expressly confirmed in writing
workfurniture reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, including after an order has been submitted.
4. Pricing
Unless otherwise stated, all pricing is in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
GST will be applied where applicable.
Pricing displayed on our websites may change without notice.
Quoted pricing is generally based on the quantities and scope contained within the quotation or proposal. If quantities or specifications change, pricing may also change.
Additional charges may apply for:
· residential delivery
· rural or remote delivery locations
· upper-floor deliveries
· restricted site access
· assembly or installation services
· urgent freight requests
· storage or re-delivery requirements
5. Orders & Quotations
Submitting an order through our website or accepting a quotation does not guarantee acceptance of the order.

· decline orders
· cancel orders
· limit quantities
· request additional information
· correct pricing or specification errors
Quotations are valid for the period specified on the quotation unless withdrawn earlier.
6. Payment Terms
Website purchases must be paid in full at checkout using approved payment methods available through our Shopify store or authorised payment providers.
For commercial projects, fit-outs, customised products, or manually invoiced orders:
· deposits or progress payments may be required
· full payment may be required prior to manufacture or procurement
· alternative payment arrangements must be agreed in writing
Failure to make payment may delay manufacturing, procurement, delivery, or installation.
workfurniture reserves the right to charge reasonable recovery costs and interest on overdue accounts where permitted by law.
7. Made-to-Order & Customised Products
Customised, upholstered-to-order, and made-to-order products are manufactured specifically for the customer.
These products may include:
· custom fabrics
· custom finishes
· custom colours
· made-to-order seating
· custom screens or partitions
· imported special-order items
· customised dimensions or configurations
Once manufacture, procurement, or supplier ordering has commenced, these orders cannot usually be cancelled, changed, or refunded.
Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming all specifications, dimensions, finishes, and selections prior to approval.
Minor variations in colour, grain, texture, finish, stitching, dimensions, or manufacturing tolerances do not constitute faults.
8. Delivery & Installation
Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are subject to supplier availability, freight carrier schedules, manufacturing timelines, weather events, shipping delays, and other circumstances outside our control.
workfurniture is not liable for delays caused by third-party suppliers, freight providers, manufacturers, ports, customs, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
· safe and suitable delivery access
· adequate stair, lift, doorway, and corridor access
· clear site access
· parking/loading availability where required
· site readiness for installation
Additional charges may apply if deliveries or installations are delayed, restricted, rescheduled, or require additional labour.
Risk in products passes to the customer upon delivery.
Ownership of goods remains with workfurniture until payment has been received in full.

9. Freight Damage
Customers must inspect products upon delivery wherever reasonably possible.
Any visible freight damage should be noted at the time of delivery and reported to workfurniture as soon as possible.
Prompt notification assists us in lodging freight claims with suppliers and carriers.

10. Returns, Refunds & Warranty
Returns, exchanges, refunds, and warranty claims are subject to:
· our Returns & Refunds Policy
· our Warranty Policy
· applicable New Zealand consumer laws
Customised and made-to-order products are generally non-returnable unless required by law.
Approved returns may be subject to restocking, handling, freight, or supplier charges.
11. Consumer Guarantees Act
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable New Zealand consumer laws where those rights cannot legally be excluded.
Where products or services are supplied for business purposes, and to the extent permitted by law, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 shall not apply.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on our websites, including:
· text
· graphics
· logos
· photographs
· layouts
· designs
· branding
· downloads
· product content
is owned by or licensed to workfurniture and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, or distributed without prior written permission.
